Ever wonder what stars are made of or how they are made?  Join Park Ranger Nora Coffey to learn about stars!  Indooor presentation followed by outdoor viewing through the telescope.  Discuss the life cycle of stars and learn the difference between hot blue stars, red giants and white dwarfs.  Meet at the park office no later than 6:00 p.m.  Please note that the park gates close at 6:00 p.m. SHARP and they remain closed for the duration of the program.  Please call the park office at (828) 652-5047 for program registration no later than noon on January 22nd.  Free.  Lake James State Park is located in Marion.
